Mobile Apps available for eLearning

A mobile application, most commonly referred to as an app, is a type of application software designed to run on a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet computer. Mobile apps for eLearning are specific apps that work with Moodle ISU or other eLearning tools.

Moodle Mobile

With the Moodle Mobile app, you can learn wherever you are, whenever you want, with these app features:

  • Easily access course content - browse the content of your courses, even when offline

  • Connect with course participants - quickly find and contact other people in your courses

  • Engage in course activitiesattempt quizzes, post in forums, play SCORM packages, edit wiki pages and more - both on and off-line

  • Submit assignments - Upload images, audio, videos and other files from your mobile device

  • Check upcoming deadlines -  View activities due, sorting by dates or by courses

  • Keep up to date - receive instant notifications of messages and other events, such as assignment submissions

  • Track your progress - View your grades, check completion progress in courses and browse your learning plans

The Moodle Mobile app can be found for the following platforms

Sync Moodle Mobile app with Moodle ISU

  1. On your smartphone, run the Moodle Mobile application.

  2. Type the site address elearn.isu.edu/moodle.

  3. Tap Connect!

  4. Provide Moodle ISU Username and Password (same as ISU Gmail Account).

  5. Tap Log in

Moodle Mobile App Resources

 

Zoom Cloud Meetings

Zoom is a free HD meeting app with video and screen sharing for up to 100 people.

Schedule, start, and join meetings all from your mobile device. Sharing content is easy -- if you can access it with your phone or tablet, you can share it in Zoom.
