Seeing Grades and Getting a Transcript

How to see grades and get a transcript.

Viewing Unofficial Grades/Transcript
  1. Go to BengalWeb
  2. Enter your ISU Username
  3. Enter your ISU Password
  4. Click Academic Tools.
  5. In the Student Records box,
  6. Click Academic Transcript, 
  7. Then select:
    • Transcript level = All levels or Undergraduate
    • Transcript Type = Advising transcript
  8. Click Submit to see the unofficial transcript.
  9. The classes will appear with their Final grades, GPA Hours, and GPA along with the class subject.
  10. To print, highlight the info you want, right-click and select Print.

Note: If only interested in current semester grades try Student Grades box

Note: An "X" grade is calculated as an "F" when figuring GPA. A student will receive an "X" grade if he or she never attended class and never dropped the class OR stopped attending class and never dropped the course.

Alumni Access:  If you are an Alumni and have not used your email in over a year or if it has been more than 2 years after graduation you will need to contact the ISU Help Desk to assist you with access to your account at (208)282-HELP(4357).

Ordering an Official Transcript See details
  • Official transcripts cost $10.00 each plus a delivery method service charge.    
  • Official transcripts will not be sent until past-due financial obligations to ISU have been paid.  Also, if there is a hold on your account, you will not you will not be able to see the unofficial transcript.  You will need to make arrangements with the Registrar to resolve any issues.   
  • To order an official transcript online, go to or go directly to the National Student Clearing House.  Follow the instructions to submit your request.
