Sign into BengalWeb
  1. Go to BengalWeb
  2. Type your ISU Username
  3. Type your Password
  4. Click SUBMIT
  5. Approve login through DUO app or hardware token
Add by Class List 
  1. Select Academic Tools (left sidebar)
  2. Locate Registration Tools (right)
  3. Click Registration Landing Page
  4. Click Register for Classes
  5. Select a Term
  6. Click Continue
    • Note: Use the fields to narrow search results by Subject, Course Number, or Keyword. You can use any combination of these fields or even none. If you input nothing into a field, it will return the entire catalog matching the other criteria.
  7. Click Search
  8. Find the desired course, and click Add (right)
    • Note: You will see two panels at the bottom of the screen. The right summarizes what classes you've added, and the left defaults to a scheduled sample week of courses. Click on Schedule Details to see details of the course.
  9. You can either click Submit (Bottom Right) or click Search Again (Top Right) and repeat steps 11-14 to add multiple courses at once.
    • Note: If you add a class you don't want to register for before clicking submit, select Remove from the drop-down menu next to that class instead of **Web Registered**.
Add by CRN 
Note: Follow steps 1-9 of Add by Class List
  1. Select Enter CRNs (top left)
  2. Type the CRN
    • Note: You can either click Add to Summary to add to the Summary (See step 13 of Add by Class List) or click +Add Another CRN to add multiple CRNs before selecting Add to Summary.
  3. Click Submit (bottom right)
Add by Plan 
  • Note: Follow steps 1-9 of Add by Class List
  1. Select Plans (top left)
    • Note: If you added a specific section to your plan, click Add, or Add All, to add all sections in your plan. Otherwise, click View Sections.
  2. Click Add after selecting a section
  3. Click Submit to register for the courses or click Return to Plan (top left) and repeat steps 12-14
Add to Waitlist  
  1. Add the course to the Summary as described above
  2. Select **Add to Waitlist** from the drop-down menu next to that class instead of **Web Registered**.
  3. Click Submit
  4. Once a spot becomes available, you will be sent an email to your ISU email address, and you will have 24 hours to add the class before you are removed from the waitlist.
    • Note: If you are on the waitlist for a different section of a class you are already registered for, you must drop the other section before you can add the new section.
Drop Courses 
  • Note: Follow steps 1-9 of Add by Class List
  1. Select from the drop-down of a course you've registered from any page where you see the Summary in the bottom right corner **Web Drop**.
    • Note: You may drop multiple courses at once
  2. Click Submit.
    • Note: You will still faintly see the courses until you reload the page or perform other actions.
  3. After you have finished registering, review your schedule to ensure you are registered for the correct classes.
ISU Course Attendance Policy 
  • Students are responsible for their registration activity. Suppose a student is unable or unwilling to attend any or all classes they have registered for; in that case, it is their responsibility to drop or withdraw from their coursework using their BengalWeb account. 
Notes:
  • Course instructors have the authority to drop registered students from courses during the first week of class for non-attendance.  
  • An instructor may also assign a student an "X" (failing grade for non-attendance) grade at mid-term or as a final grade if a student has not attended/participated in class or does not meet the attendance policy established in the course syllabus.
