Add Classes by Searching the Class List

A helpful guide on how to add classes to your schedule but searching the class list. 

  1. Log in to BengalWeb, click on Academic Tools (left), then go to the Registration Tools channel.  Click on ISU Class Schedule or Add or Drop Classes.
  2. On the Select Term or Date Range page, choose the semester you want to register for from the drop-down list.  Then click Submit.
  3. You must choose at least one subject. To select multiple subjects, hold down the Ctrl key, and click each additional subject to search. Choose other options to narrow your search if desired. Click here to see additional search tips. 
  4. Click Course Search.
  5. Find desired course. Click on View Sections to see the times and places the course is offered that semester.

  1. Find the section you want to register for and click on the small checkbox, far left.  If there is no checkbox, the class is not available for registration.  If there is a C, the course is full. 
  2. Click Register to register for the class at once. Or click Add to Worksheet, and then search for more classes. Click Submit Changes to register for all classes saved on the worksheet.

After you have finished registering, review your schedule to make sure you are registered for the correct classes.

  1. Click the My Concise Schedule link in the Registration Tools portlet to see your schedule. Check to make sure that your classes are on the right campus, there are no time conflicts, and none of the classes required an override before you could register.
  2. To see a more detailed schedule (including links to email instructors), click Student Detail Schedule at the bottom of the screen.
