Description
Zoom provides various platforms to join and participate in a meeting. While the Zoom Desktop Client is the preferred method for launching a Zoom meeting there are other options available if you have technical issues. The Zoom web client allows you to launch a zoom meeting from the browser with limited capabilities.
This Guide Will Help You to:
- Join from your browser
- Seek further assistance
Join from your browser
- Click the link to join the meeting.
- If prompted to open the Zoom desktop client, click Cancel.
- Click Launch Meeting.
- When prompted again to open the Zoom desktop client, click Cancel.
- A statement will appear, "having issues with the Zoom Client? Join from your browser"
- Click the Join from your Browser link.
- If prompted, sign in to your Zoom account. If you do not have a Zoom account, create a new account.
- You will be prompted to enter your name and the meeting password if it was not included in the join link.
- Click Join.
