Description

This article provides instructions on how to upload and print documents using PawPrint at Idaho State University (ISU).

Upload a Document

Section Note: Each uploaded document has limitations.

  • PawPrint documents are limited to 5 MB or 25 pages each.
  • PawPrint will only print in black and white.
  • PawPrint documents sent to a print station remain available for printing for 72 hours.
  1. Go to PawPrint Portal (external link).
  2. Choose your Branch from the drop-down menu.
  3. Choose a Printer from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Upload a Document.
  5. Enter your ISU Username.
  6. Select CONTINUE.
  7. Upload a Document by:
    • Browse for a File
    • Enter a URL
    • Drag and Drop a File
  8. Select Additional Settings to configure your print job.
  9. Select Submit.
    • Note: If you have more print jobs, select Yes and repeat steps 7-9. Otherwise, select No.
  10. Visit the selected PawPrint Cloud Print Station to release the print job.

Retrieve a Document

  1. Go to the selected PawPrint Cloud Print Station.
  2. Login with your ISU Username and Password.
  3. Click Sign In.
  4. Click to highlight the documents you want to print.
  5. Select Print.
  6. Pick up the document from the printer.

PawPrint FAQ

Q: Can I print in color?

  • A: No, PawPrint can only print in black and white at this time. Color printing is available in the Bengal Print and mail Center, located in the Student Union Building, Room 130 in Pocatello, the Bennion Student Union computer lab in Idaho Falls, or the 829 computer lab in Meridian.


Q: How many pages can I print using PawPrint?

  • A: PawPrint is limited to a file size of 5 megabytes and 25 pages per uploaded document.

Q: Can I use PawPrint on my phone?

  • A: Yes, You can use PawPrint with any device that has an Internet browser.

Q: What happens to my document if I can't pick it up right away?

  • A: Documents are stored for 72 hours and are not printed until you visit a PawPrint Station to print your documents. After 72 hours, the print job will be deleted

Q: Can someone else print my documents for me?

  • A: When you input your ISU username on the PawPrint website, it ties your uploaded document to your account. No one else will be able to view or print your documents.

Q: I uploaded my document to the wrong PawPrint Cloud Print Station; what do I do?

  • A: Please re-upload your document to the correct PawPrint Station. Alternatively, IT Lab Representatives and the IT Service Desk can redirect the print job for you.

Q: Can I upload a document for someone else?

  • A: Yes, when the PawPrint website asks for a username, use their ISU username, and they will be able to print the document from the PawPrint Station you chose on the website.
