Description

A Canvas ISU Sandbox Course is a blank course shell for faculty use in developing and preparing course content before delivery. Once the official semester course is available, you can copy your materials into it.

Instructions

Complete the Canvas: Sandbox Request Form.
The are two choices under Which type of Sandbox are you requesting?
1. Select Initial Learning Sandbox if you just want a place to experiment or develop a future course.
2. Select Course Specific Sandbox if you want to prepare a course for delivery in an upcoming semester.
  1. Select Course Specific Sandbox.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Additional questions will open for you to enter your course prefix, course number, title and indicate which semester your course will be taught in.

How will I know that the special course has been created?

You will be notified via a TigerTracks email when your sandbox course has been created and is available for your use.

Can I request more than one Sandbox course?

Yes, complete the request form for each ISU Canvas sandbox course that you would like to have created. Form - Canvas: Sandbox Request Form
