Preparing for Your Proctored Exam

Before taking any proctored exam, ensure you have completed the following preparations:
  • Technical Setup:
    • Use a reliable internet connection with a computer/laptop that has a functioning webcam and microphone.
    • Update your web browser, close unnecessary applications, and test your equipment beforehand.
  • Environment & Materials:
    • Choose a quiet, private, well-lit room and clear your testing area of unauthorized materials.
    • Have a current photo ID ready and inform household members of your exam schedule.
  • Positioning & Appearance:
    • Position yourself so your face is clearly visible to the camera and avoid wearing hats, sunglasses, or headphones unless specifically permitted by your instructor.
