Online Proctoring

Summary

Online proctoring allows a student to take an exam at home or work. The online proctor will observe the student and their computer screen during the exam and report any discrepancies. Currently, a Live Proctoring Service is available for those teaching eISU courses.

Online proctoring through ProctorU (Meazure Learning) gives students the flexibility to test wherever and whenever they want based on the testing window established by the instructor. Test-takers connect to their proctoring session through ProctorU's (Measure Learning) secure browser which secures the virtual environment by locking down each test-taker's computer according to the settings configured by the instructor. Test-takers will be required to download and install the Guardian browser and have a web camera, a microphone and a current photo ID. ProctorU (Meazure Learning) has two proctoring options:
The live+ service combines advanced software with human validation, including a live-proctored launch, continuous monitoring, active intervention for suspicious behavior, and comprehensive reporting.
The record+ service combines an automated exam launch with session recording and professional review.

ProctorFree is a software-only verification and exam recording solution. ProctorFree can enable a Secure Browser to limit the test-taker's ability to navigate, print screen, copy & paste, and force the browser to full screen. Test-takers will be required to have a web camera, a microphone, and a current photo ID.
