Connect ISU Email on iOS and Android Devices

This article provides instructions on how to add your ISU Gmail account to iOS and Android mobile devices at Idaho State University (ISU).

• Connect an iOS (Apple) Device
• Connect an Android (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.) Device

1. Go to the Settings app.
2. Navigate to the Mail app settings.
3. Select Add Account.
4. Select Google as an email provider.
5. Type in your ISU Gmail address. This address will be of the format "username@isu.edu"
6. Select Next
7. Enter your Password
8. Select Next. You will be prompted to choose which Google apps to sync.
   • Note: Once you've made your selections, turn off any items you don’t want to sync, then select Save.

1. Open the App Drawer. 
   • Note: Depending on your version of Android, you can do this by swiping up from the dock or tapping the App Drawer icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Accounts and backup.
4. Select Manage accounts.
5. Select Add account.
6. Select Google.
7. Enter Password, fingerprint, or pattern if prompted.
8. Enter your ISU Gmail address on the Add your account prompt.
   • Note: This address will be of the format "username@isu.edu".
9. Select Next.
10. Enter your Password.
11. Select Next.
12. Select Agree on the Terms of Service page.
13. Select Finish.
