How to Request

Faculty & Staff:

Click the Request Zoom Account to the right and fill out the form to request this service.

Students & Basic Users:

Click Request an ISU Zoom Account (Basic/Student users), follow these instructions for an ISU Basic or Student Account

Service Description

The ISU Zoom Account allows faculty/staff to use web conferencing.

Standard Features

The requestor will receive an ISU Zoom account. There are two types of status:

  • Basic status includes:
    • Host up to 100 participants
    • Unlimited meeting duration for 1 to 1 meetings
    • 40 min. duration limit on group meetings
    • Unlimited number of meetings
    • Use Zoom in Moodle ISU
  • Pro/Licensed status 
    • All basic account features
    • Unlimited meeting duration
    • Custom personal meeting ID.
    • Online support

Roles and Responsibilities

Users Responsibilities:

  • Use form to request ISU Zoom account.

Service Provider Responsibilities:

  • Requesters will receive ISU Zoom activation email.

Service Audience

In the case that there are not enough Pro/Licensed accounts for Faculty, Inactive Pro/Licensed users can be reassigned to a Basic account. 

Faculty

Faculty that will be needing the Pro/Licensed status will have priority when assigning licenses. 

Staff

Staff may be assigned to either Pro or Basic status dependent on usage or number of avaivalble licenses.

Temporary or Student Employee

Temporary or student employees (teacher assistant, tutor, staff aid) may be assigned to either Pro or Basic status dependent on usage. After the semester, their status will be moved to Basic. 

Students

Students will be assigned an account with Basic status.

Service Pricing

This service is free of charge.
