Cayuse Information

The Cayuse system tracks ISU research proposal and award activity, provides for streamlined-internal routing and approval of proposals, facilitates submission to sponsor systems, and stores proposal and award documents. The Cayuse system is available and required for faculty use as of February 2015.

A mobile application, most commonly referred to as an app, is a type of application software designed to run on a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet computer. Mobile apps for eLearning are specific apps that work with Moodle ISU or other eLearning tools.

Online Proctoring using Examity

Online proctoring allows a student to take an exam at home or work. The online proctor will observe the student and their computer screen during the exam and report any discrepancies. Currently, a Live Proctoring Service is available for those teaching eISU courses.

Plagiarism Checker using Turnitin

Turnitin allows Moodle ISU instructors to evaluate the originality of students’ assignment submission. With Feedback Studio, Similarity Report and other features, instructors can review and grade submissions.

Web Conferencing Using Zoom

Zoom is a web conferencing system (video centric) with video, audio, whiteboard, chat, application sharing, polling, breakout rooms and other tools to engage students in a synchronous (live) online environment. Our ISU Zoom license has been enabled with end-to-end encryption to facilitate HIPAA based compliance requirements.
