Resolution
Registering to Upgrade to Windows 10
Note: Windows 10 Education (Multilanguage) (Work At Home) is available for a nominal fee to Faculty and Staff
  1. Go to Windows 10 
  2. Scroll down to College Students: Upgrade to Windows 10 Education
  3. Select UPGRADE NOW
  4. Select Students
  5. Select Country, State, and type Idaho State University in the school box
  6. Select Idaho State University in the department box
  7. Select Windows 10
    • You will be shown a list of products available to you through your university.
  8. Click Add to Cart next to the Microsoft Windows 10 Education (Multilanguage) - Download Product Key Download. 
  9. Select Register if you have never registered
    • Enter ISU Username
    • Select Continue
    • Type  First Name
    • Type Last Name
    • Type Password
    • Type Confirmation Password
    • Select Groups of Which you are a member
      • Students
    • Check I'm not a robot
    • Click Register
Note: You will need to register to use the product
Downloading Create Windows 10 Installation Media
Note: After checking out, you can view the product key. It will look similar to this: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T.
  2. Click the Download tool now under Create Windows 10 installation media.
  3. Install Download tool
    • Select Yes; you want to allow the program to change your computer.
  4. Follow the instructions and type in your Windows product key.
  5. You will then go through the installation and upgrade process. This may take some time.
