Instructions for using the voicemail features built into ISU's Cisco VoIP phone system. Each voicemail account fills up at 14 megabytes.

Configuring Cisco Unity Voicemail 
  1. Press the Message button on the phone (recorder icon button above cog and book buttons)
  2. Type PIN "Password" (Default PIN is your 4 Digit Extension)
  3. The Voicemail System will talk you through the steps.  
    1. Record Name
    2. Set Up New PIN (Password)
    3. Record Greeting
    4. Wait for Prompt, then Hang Up

Voicemail User Guide 
  1. Dial 208-282-6990
  2. At the beginning of the Greeting Press *
  3. Enter ID (4-digit Extension or Mailbox Number)
  4. Press #
  5. Enter PIN (Password)
  6. Press #

Changing Your PIN (Password) 
  1. Press the Message Button (above the gear and book buttons) and enter your PIN (password)
  2. Press 4 > 3 > 1
  3. Type New PIN (Password)
  4. Press #
  5. Type New PIN (Password) again to confirm
  6. Press #

Changing Your Recorded Name 
  1. Press the Message Button  (above the gear and book buttons) and enter your PIN (password)
  2. Press 4 > 3 > 2
  3. At the tone, Record Name
  4. Press # to End Recording or Press * to keep Current Recording

Recording a Greeting 
  1. Press Message Button and Log-On
  2. Press 4 > 1 > 1
  3. After Cisco Unity Plays Current Greeting
    • Press 1 to Re-Record
    • Press 3 to Record Different Greeting
    • Select Greeting, then Record it.

Enabling or Disabling an Alternate Greeting 
NOTE: You can only enable or disable your alternate greeting by phone.
  1. Press Message Button and Log-On
  2. Press 4 > 1 > 1
  3. After Cisco Unity plays Current Greeting, Press 2 to Enable or Disable Alternate Greeting
Note: When an alternate greeting is enabled, it overrides all other greetings.
