Before You Begin
Install ProjectLibre on Windows 11
- Visit the ProjectLibre download page.
- Download the Windows installation file.
- Open the downloaded .msi file.
- If Windows displays a security warning:
- Select More info.
- Select Run anyway.
- Follow the instructions in the ProjectLibre Setup Wizard to complete the installation.
Install ProjectLibre on macOS
Section Note: ProjectLibre is not signed with an Apple certificate and may be identified as a third-party application. You may need to adjust your security settings before opening the application.
- Visit the ProjectLibre download page.
- Download the macOS installation file.
- Open System Settings.
- Select Privacy and Security.
- Under Security, confirm that applications from the App Store and identified developers are allowed.
- Open the downloaded ProjectLibre file from your Downloads folder.
Tip: Press Option + Command + L to quickly open the Downloads folder.
- Open the .dmg file.
- Follow the installation instructions.
Allow ProjectLibre to Open
If macOS prevents ProjectLibre from opening:

Open System Settings.

Select Privacy and Security.

Locate the message stating that ProjectLibre was blocked to protect your Mac.

Select Open Anyway.

When prompted, select Open ProjectLibre.
