Computer Lab Printing

Description 

Instructions

1. Go to any of the computer labs listed here.
2. Log in using your ISU username and password.
3. Open the file you wish to print.
4. Ensure your document is formatted correctly and ready for printing.

1. Click on the File menu in your application and select Print or press Ctrl + P (Windows) / Command + P (Mac).
2. Choose the appropriate printer from the dropdown menu. In most labs, printers are labeled by their location.
   1. Note: If you don’t see any printer listed at first, please return to your document and hit Print one more time.
3. Click Print to send your job to the GoPrint system.
   1. Note: In Rendezvous Drop-in Lab, there is a black-and-white printer as well as a color printer. If documents are sent to the color printer, please see the representative at the desk after this step.

1. GoPrint will pop up on your screen.
2. Log in to GoPrint using your ISU username and password.
3. Once logged in, you will see a list of your pending print jobs.

1. Select the box on the left side of your print job.
2. Hit Print at the bottom.

1. Go to the printer and wait for your document to finish printing.
2. Retrieve your printed pages, ensuring that you have all parts of your document.
3. Once you are done printing, log out of the lab computer.

• Check Your Balance: Ensure you have sufficient printing credits or funds in your GoPrint account. You can usually check your balance in the GoPrint system or via your student portal.
• Print Preview: Use the print preview option to avoid unnecessary pages or formatting errors.
• Log Out: Always log out of the lab computer to protect your account and personal information.
