Description

This article provides information about Box, the secure cloud storage for faculty, staff and approved students at Idaho State University (ISU).

  • Note: Box files are the exclusive property of ISU. Upon termination of employment, Box data may be placed in temporary hold status before transfer to a supervisor.

With Box you can:

  • Store files securely in the cloud.
  • Access your files from any supported device with an Internet connection. 
  • Share files and folders with others.
  • Collaborate on documents with colleagues.
  • Keep files private or share them with specific individuals or groups.
  • Protect important university data with secure cloud storage and backup.

Note: To request student access, select the Request or Renew Account Access button and complete the form. Access is granted after required approval is received.

Guide Navigation

Access and Login

  1. Go to ISU Box.
  2. Select Continue.
  3. Enter your ISU Username and Password.
  4. Select Sign in.
    • Note: Approve the Duo Security Push if prompted.

Additional Box Resources

Once logged into Box:
  1. Select the Idaho State University logo.
  2. Choose Help from the drop-down menu.
  3. Search or browse available support topics.

Access Notes

  • Faculty and staff automatically receive Box access. 
  • Students may request a limited-time ISU Box account with approval from a faculty or staff member.

Request or Renew Account Access
Submit this form to request or renew access to ISU accounts and resources for employees, student employees, contractors, temporary employees, and other authorized personnel who do not automatically receive services. Access may include Email, Box, Wireless, Lab, and other approved ISU services.
