Schedule Zoom Meetings with Google Calendar

With the Zoom for GSuite add-on, you can seamlessly schedule, join, and manage meetings right from Gmail or Google Calendar

This Guide Will Help You to:

  • Add the Zoom add-in to Google Calendar

  • Link Zoom account to Google Calendar

  • Create Google invites with Zoom web conferencing

  • Seek further assistance

Add the Zoom add-in to Google Calendar

  1. Open Google Calendar, click the “Gear” icon.

  2. In the Gear menu, select “Get Add-ons”.

  3. Search and select “Zoom for Google Calendar”.

  4. Click “Install” and select “Continue”.

  5. Choose your ISU gmail account and click “Allow” .

  6. Select “Done” and close the add-on window.

Link Zoom account to Google Calendar

  1. In Google Calendar, create an event.

  2. Click on the “Add conferencing” menu, select Zoom Meeting.

  3. Click “Authorize” and Choose your ISU gmail account.

  4. Select “Allow”

  5. Click “Log in”, 

    • Sign in with your Zoom specific credentials or 

    • Click the “Sign in with Google” method. 

Create Google invites with Zoom web conferencing

  1. In Google Calendar, create an event.

  2. In the field that says “Add Google Meet video conferencing”; click the dropdown arrow, select “Zoom Meeting”.

  3. Give it a moment to process, you will then see:

    • a link to “join Zoom Meeting”

    • the Meeting ID

    • Passcode (if you have passcodes required in your Zoom account settings). 

  4. Complete the other information such as adding a title, date/time, and guests. 

  5. Click Save.
