Accessing Adobe Applications for Students

This article provides instructions on how students can access and use Adobe applications, including Adobe Express and Creative Cloud tools at Idaho State University (ISU).

Access Adobe For Students

NoteS:

  • Most applications open in your web browser.
  • Photoshop Express is currently the only application available for download.
  • Access to some applications depends on your course enrollment and instructor requirements.

Follow these steps to sign in and access Adobe applications:

  1. Open a web browser (such as Chrome or Firefox).
  2. Go to the Adobe website (external link)
  3. Select Sign In.
  4. Choose Continue with Google.
  5. Enter your ISU email address and password.
    • Be sure to use your ISU account, not a personal Google account.

After signing in:

  1. Select Apps from the main navigation menu.
  2. Locate the application you need.
  3. Select Open (for browser-based apps) or Download (if available).

Adobe Express Applications

The following applications are available to all students:

  • Adobe Express
  • Photoshop Express
  • Premiere Rush

Note: These applications are web-based and do not require installation (except where noted).

Creative Cloud Applications (Course-Required Only)

Access to Creative Cloud applications is granted based on your enrolled courses and instructor approval.

Available applications may include:

  • Acrobat
  • After Effects
  • Animate
  • Audition
  • Bridge
  • Character Animator
  • Dimension
  • Dreamweaver
  • Fresco
  • Illustrator
  • InCopy
  • InDesign
  • Lightroom
  • Lightroom Classic
  • Media Encoder
  • Photoshop
  • Premiere Pro
  • Substance 3D Modeler
  • Substance 3D Painter
  • Substance 3D Sampler

Note: If you do not see an application you need, confirm with your instructor that it is required for your course.
