Case Contents

When you first open up your Trysight case you should find a charging cord and wall plug (on the right side of the image) and the Trysight tablet (on the left side of the image). Beneath the tablet there should be a user guide. This guide will be similar to that one and take some images from the other guide, but will go a bit more in depth and add extra image examples.
Using the TrySight Tablet

When holding the tablet vertically the power button should be on the upper righthand side. The volume controls are located below that. The headphone jack is on top, and the charging port is on the bottom. When the tablet has about 15 minutes of battery life left it will sound 4 quick beeps.

On the back of the tablet there are a couple of legs that you can use to prop the tablet up on a table.

When the tablet boots up you may be met with a screen with a large blue button with a magnifying glass icon and large red button with a reading icon.

If you are not met with that screen, you will probably be met with this screen. On this screen you can access the reading mode.
Reading Mode

When in reading mode there should be five color coded buttons at the bottom of the screen. From left to right: the leftmost green button takes a picture and saves it. The yellow button is used to display the image text as text outside of the image. With this toggled on you will not see the image you took, only the text.

The red button takes you to the settings menu, where you can access both general and reader settings. The blue button allows table detection. The green button on the far right allows you to view saved images and delete them. There are also two smaller buttons in both upper corners. The top right corner button allows you to turn the light off or on. The top left corner button takes you to the magnifying mode.

To begin reading, take a picture of the text you want to read by tapping the middle of the screen. It will then process the image and begin reading. It will then read through all of the text in the image. If you want a specific portion read you can click on it. You can also click on the screen to pause or resume the reader. You can click on the screen with three fingers at once and it will change the contrast and color of the image. There are many options for this, and you can scroll through them by clicking with three fingers over and over. If you want to return the image to the original contrast you can click on the middle grey button on the left of the screen. On this screen you can save the image with the bottom green button or exit out of the screen with the top red button.
Magnifying Mode

The Magnifying Mode can be controlled using different finger inputs. The Magnifying Mode allows you to zoom in on text to read it easier without the use of a screen reader.
