Overview: Moodle ISU on Mobile Devices

Description

Moodle Mobile is the Moodle official mobile application for Android and iOS. It is available in Google Play and the Apple Market.

This Guide Will Help You to:

  • Access Moodle ISU on the smart phone’s browser

  • Find the official Moodle Mobile app

  • Sync Moodle app with Moodle ISU

  • Identify Moodle app features

  • Seek further assistance

Access Moodle ISU on the smart phone’s browser

Moodle ISU works well using the internet browser on most mobile devices (the Firefox browser is still recommended if available). 

[Warning: Some resources and activities, such as quizzes, may not function well on your mobile device, we recommended using standard desk/laptop when doing quizzes]

  1. Open the internet browser on your phone

  2. Search either ‘Moodle ISU login’ or type the direct site URL: ‘https://elearn.isu.edu/moodle

  3. Enter your Username and Password (these are the same as your ISU email account.)

  4. Click Log in

Find the official Moodle Mobile app

The Moodle Mobile app can be found for the following platforms

Sync Moodle app with Moodle ISU using login credentials

  1. Run the Moodle application

  2. Type the site address ‘elearn.isu.edu/moodle

  3. Tap Connect!

  4. Provide Username and Password

  5. Tap Log in

Sync Moodle app with Moodle ISU using a QR code

  1. Run the Moodle application

  2. Select Scan QR Code

  3. Follow the instructions to find the QR code

  4. Scan the QR code in your Moodle profile

 

Identify Moodle app features

With Moodle Mobile, the official mobile app for Moodle, you can

  • Browse the content of your courses, even when offline

  • Receive instant notifications of messages and other events

  • Quickly find and contact other people in your courses

  • Upload images, audio, videos and other files from your mobile device

  • Track your progress, mark tasks as complete and browse your learning plans

  • Attempt quizzes, post in forums and edit wiki pages

  • View your course grades
