Scan a document using the scanner bed
Turn on
the scanner.
Log into
the computer scanner stations using your
ISU username and password
.
Double-click
the
HP Scanner icon.
Choose
the settings that best apply to your document.
To scan using the flat glass on top of the scanner,
lift
the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and
lay
the document on the glass (wording face down).
Align
the document's top-right corner with the glass flatbed's top-right corner and close the lid.
Click Scan
. Once your document is scanned, you can edit it on the computer screen.
Press Save
, create a name for the document, and choose a location to save the file.

Scan a document using the Automatic Document Feeder
Turn on
the scanner.
Log into
the computer scanner stations using your
ISU username and password
.
Double-click
the HP Scanner icon.
Choose
the settings that best apply to your document.
To scan using the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF),
place
the scanning document into the feeder (wording face up, with the top of the document pointing into the tray.)
Click Scan
. Once your document is scanned, you can edit it on the computer screen.
Press Save
, create a name for the document, and choose a location to save the file.
