Note: If you have JMP already installed on your machine, you will need to uninstall it before installing the new version!
Same version - Renewing the license

Go to the
JMP 17 folder in
BOX (no account needed).

Enter the "JMP Pro 17.2 - Windows 2024-2025" folder.

Right click the jmp.per file and click Download
-
When launching JMP 17.2 Pro, click "Open license" and select the jmp.per file you downloaded.
How to install JMP Pro 17.2 for Windows

Go to the
JMP 17 folder in
BOX (no account needed).

Right click "JMP Pro 17.2 - Windows 2024-2025" folder.

Click Download to download all files to the computer
-
Wait for it to download
-
After the file finishes downloading, open it.

Click on the Extract all button on the File Explorer ribbon at the top

A new window will open. Click on Extract in the bottom right

Click JMP 17.2 - Windows 2024-2025

Run jmppro__1720__win.exe (It should be an "Application" file type)

Follow The install wizard
-
Click Yes when asked, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"

Click Next on the new window that pops up

Click Next on choose to install location
-
Click Next on Installation Options
-
Click Install
-
Wait for JMP to install
-
Click Finish when done
-
Check to Create a desktop shortcut
-
Click Finish
-
Run JMP to ensure it works correctly
Note: The first time this happens, a pop-up may appear that asks to register the software. This is not needed, so select “wait to register". This pop-up should then no longer appear.
