Disabling MAC Randomization on IOS Devices while using DeviceNet

Issue / Question
Devices running IOS have a feature that randomizes the MAC address for different WiFi connections. This feature is enabled by default but should be disabled for use with DeviceNet.

Resolution
Turn Private Address Off for DeviceNet
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  1. Open Settings 
  2. Select Network>Wi-Fi
  3. Select the Gear Icon next to DeviceNet
  4. Confirm Turn Private Address toggle off
Apple Watch
  1. Open Settings 
  2. Select Wi-Fi
  3. Confirm that the Private Address toggle is in the off position
