Information on changing credits for courses.

How do I change credits for a variable credit course?
Can I change the number of credits for a course?

Resolution

Register for the course as you would normally. To change the number of credits of the course, follow these directions.

Log into MyISU with your ISU Username and Password
- Note: Go to Forgotten or Expired Password if you need assistance with your password.
Approve Login using the DUO mobile app or hardware token
Navigate to the Main Menu (left)

Variable Credit Course Registration

Select Academics (left)
Scroll and Click Registration Landing Page
Click Register for Classes
Select a Term
Click Continue
Select Schedule and Options (top-left)
Click on the hours of the course whose credits you want to change
Enter the number of credits you want
When you click off of the course, the changed credits will remain.
