Create an account for external users
Moodle ISU is connected to the University's registration system. External Users ( accreditors, guest lecturers, etc.) will need to first work with their ISU Representative to obtain an ISU username from the IT Service Desk. Once created, the IT Service Desk (help@isu.edu | 208-282-HELP) can assign a task to the Instructional Technology Resource Center (itrc@isu.edu) with the users' information to manually create a Moodle ISU account:
- First & Last Name
- ISU Username (the same username to log into MyISU)
- ISU primary email
Moodle ISU Community has an email registration option. External users can create their own Moodle ISU Community account that is associated with their personal email. On the login page, select “Create new account” to get started.
If the external user has an ISU email, they can use the University's single sign-on (SSO) system to log in. Their Moodle ISU Community account is automatically created.
