Identity Management Portal (IAM) Update

Description 

The Identity Management Portal (IAM), which manages passwords and secure logins for Idaho State University, will be updated on Friday, March 21, 2025, and completed by Saturday, March 22, 2025. The new version features a modern, streamlined card wall design with enhanced user functionality.

The new homepage will feature a customizable card wall, allowing you to personalize your IAM experience.

My Passwords

Features Include:

  • Password Reset
    • An easy way to update your ISU password and see when it expires.
    • Password requirements will be verified as you type out your new password.
    • You will have the ability to preview your password as you type it.
    • Your password expiration date is prominently displayed on the home page. 
My Security

Features Include:

  • Manage Duo Devices
  • Manage Duo Bypass Codes
    • These emergency codes may be used to authenticate in the case that other duo authentication methods are not available.
    • They are single use and good for 5 days.
  • Manage Security Questions 
    • Update your security questions.
My Access

Features Include:

  • View your ISU access 
    • Easily view the access you've been granted through policy or by request.
    • You’ll likely see Identity System, LDAPaaS access, and other services like Google, Box, and more.
My Profile
  1. Select Profile Icon( in top right,First and last initial)
  2. Select My Profile

Features Include:

  • Update Account Claim Email
  • Update Mobile Phone Number

Note: Validation will be required before the update is complete

My Preferences

Customize how you view your IAM portal experience like your profile name format and theme.

Features Include:

  • Profile Name Format
  • Pronouns
  • Display Date Format
  • Theme

Note: These features are limited to only IAM and you will not see them anywhere else.
