If Host Controls are Unavailable on the Zoom Controller

Description 

If you don't have Host controls (e.g. the ability to share content or manage breakout rooms), another participant likely joined the meeting before the Zoom Room system. The easiest way to regain those controls is to Claim Host via your 6-10 digit host key.

Details

Claim Host using your Host Key
  1. On the Zoom Controller, tap on Participants.
  2. At the bottom of the Participants window, tap Claim Host.
  3. Enter your 6-10 digit Host Key.
  4. Tap OK.

Viewing and Editing your Zoom Host Key

  1. Open a web browser to isu.zoom.us and sign in using your ISU credentials.
  2. In the left-hand navigation, click Profile.
  3. Scroll down to the Meeting section.
  4. Next to Host Key click on the eye icon to view your host key or the Edit button to change it.
