The Navigation bar (aka: breadcrumbs) is the row of links you will find at the top left of you Moodle site. The breadcrumbs shows a user their current context path, with links to the higher contexts.

""

The Breadcrumbs are live links that you can use to navigate to a specific page within the path. This is more effective than clicking the back button within the browser and avoids caching issues.
