The Navigation menu is useful for moving between your courses and the dashboard of Moodle ISU.
This Guide Will Help You to:
Identify the site navigation menu options
Site home - Takes you to Moodle ISU’s homepage, find site announcements and a list of your courses.
Dashboard - Takes you to your personalized start page, showing you activities that will be due soon, as well as a calendar of upcoming course events., For more information, see Use the Dashboard page.
My courses - List of links to your courses that are currently in progress. For more information, see Access your courses form the My courses page.
ISU Resources - Contains links to Counseling Services, Disability Services, IT Service Desk, Student Success Center, and Technology Policies and Resources.
Help - Opens the tawk.to chat to get help with Moodle. Live chat is available from 8am-7pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am-5pm Friday. Chats received after this time will be answered the following business day.
Find your course
Courses are made available to students on the first day of class. Instructors can adjust the course’s start/end date and change the course availability. Student should contact their instructor with inquiries related to the course’s availability.
Using the Site navigation menu

Select the My courses tab, use the following options to filter your course.

In progress - Courses during the current semester.

Future - Courses after the current semester

Past - Course before the current semester.

Select the desired course from the Course overview list.

Using the search box

On the Site home page, scroll to the bottom

In the Search box, type the name of the course

Click enter
Course Index
The course index is a scrollable, collapsible drawer that displays course sections and elements. As you move up and down the central course area, your location is highlighted in the Course index. Clicking on an item in the Course index will open it up directly in the course central area.
