Page Resource [Faculty]

Description

The page resource allows you to create an internal web page using the HTML editor included with Moodle ISU.

This Guide Will Help You to:

  • Add a page to your course

  • Seek further assistance

Add a Page to your Course

  1. Toggle editing on

  2. Locate the week/topic in which you wish to add the page

  3. Click Add an activity or resource

  4. Select Page

General

  1. In the Name field, type the name of the page. This will be displayed to the students on the course homepage

  2. In the Description field, type a description of the page

    • If you would like this description displayed on the course page, check the Display description on the course page checkbox

Content

In Page content, type the content you would like shown on the page

You may also use HTML formatting

1. Select the Show More Buttons button

  1. Select the “</>” or “HTML” icon in the bottom row to open a window that accepts HTML code

Appearance

  1. You will have the ability to adjust the different information that is displayed:

    • Display page description will show the description of the page to students

    • Display last modified date of the page to show students the last modified date of the page

Choose whether to Show or Hide the activity

To save

  • Click Save and display to view the file

  • Click Save and return to course to be taken back to the course homepage

  • Click Cancel to delete the page
