Resolution
For Windows:
  1. Right click on My Computer or This PC.
  2. Choose Map network drive...
  3. In the box labeled Folder,  type the location of the network share. Example: \\[drivename].isu.edu\[share_folder_name].
    • The format is:  "\\server-address\name-of-folder-on-the-share" .
  4. Optionally, click Reconnect at logon if you would like the network drive to be mapped each time you log onto this computer.
  5. Click Finish.
  6. Enter your username and password when prompted and click OK.
  7. For some mappings you must type "isu\[username]" and the password
For Macs:
  1. Go to the Finder (icon typically located on dock at bottom of screen).
  2. Select Go on the Finder bar and select Connect to Server from the menu.
  3. For server name, type: (example) smb://[drivename].isu.edu\[share_folder_name].
  4. Click Connect.
  5. It will prompt you for a username and password.  This should be your regular LDAP credentials. 
  6. Select the plus sign if you want to save the address in your favorites.
