Description

This article details how to use and access an ALEKS account.

Getting an ALEKS Account

An ALEKS account is an account used by many math departments to provide online coursework and help to students in their classes. Professors can use this to track progress throughout the course, while students use it to learn at their own pace.
  1. textbook with an unused access code is needed.
  2. Access codes can also be purchased for specific amounts of time through ALEKS.
    • Note: The code price varies, but a digital book edition with an access code purchase is also given.
  3. Information from the professor teaching that class is needed to sign up for a class with the activated account.
  4. They provide a code to enter the class with the activated account
  5. Passwords, information, and other data are all on McGraw Hill's side
    • Note: Logging in and application errors should be taken through their site
  6. Professors do have access to different areas of ALEKS, so they have some level of control over student accounts.
Note: You can go to the ALEKS website for additional information.
