Basic Dialing Instructions

On-Campus Calls
  • Dial the 4-digit extension.
Off-Campus Calls
  • Dial 8 first to access an outside line
Off-Campus Dialing Formats
Local Off-Campus Calls
  • Dial: 8 + 208 + phone number
Long-Distance Calls
  • Dial: 8 + 1 + area code + phone number
  • Note: You must dial 1 for long-distance calls outside Southeast Idaho.
International Calls
  • Dial: 8 + country code + phone number
