Classified Staff Time Entry

This article provides instructions on how to enter and submit time in MyISU for Classified Staff at Idaho State University (ISU).

1. Log into the MyISU Portal (external link) using your ISU username and password.
   • Note: If you need help with your password, go to the Password Reset Portal (external link).
2. If prompted, approve your login using the DUO Mobile App or your hardware token.
3. Go to the Menu button. (three horizontal lines)
4. Select the Work tab and navigate to the Time Entry & Employment Details card.
5. Select the Employee Dashboard link.
6. Select Enter Time.
7. Select Start Timesheet or In Progress, depending if you have opened your timecard.
8. Select a day on the calendar.
9. Locate the Earn Code field. Activate the dropdown menu to view available Earn Code time entry types.
10. Select an appropriate Earn Code.
11. Enter your total hours worked for the selected day in the Hours field.
12. Select Save.

5. Select the Employee Dashboard link.
6. Select Enter Time.
7. At the End of the Pay Period, Select In Progress.
8. Select the Preview button.
9. Review the hours you entered for accuracy and optionally enter a comment.
10. Check thebox labeled: "By submitting this time sheet, I certify that the record of hours for each work day as entered is true and accurate statement."
11. Select the Submit button.
12. Note: You can select the Return button if you need to edit your time card.
