Adding Syllabus Information and Office Hours

These instructions are for adding this information to classes listed in Faculty Section Assignments in MyISU.
Adding Syllabus Information
Entering syllabus information is entirely optional. The default field size cannot be modified. Moodle Users: You may simply wish to enter "Syllabus will be posted in Moodle." Moodle will automatically merge cross-listed courses.  For sections taught at multiple levels (undergrad/grad) or locations, you may request a single Moodle ISU course with all your students enrolled. Please see the General Moodle Instructor Procedures on the ITRC website. 
  1. In MyISU, go to Academics (left side).
  2. In Faculty Section Assignments, click on the Faculty Assignments link. Detailed course assignments will appear. 
  3. Scroll to the class to which you want to add the syllabus, and click Add under the word Syllabus
  4. Type the information you want the students to see on the Syllabus Data screen, then click Submit
Adding Office Hours Information
Entering office hours information is completely optional, although it will provide an added convenience for students.
  1. In MyISU, go to Academics (left side). 
  2. In Faculty Section Assignments, click on the Faculty Assignments link.  Detailed course assignments will appear. 
  3. Scroll to the class you want to add Office Hours to and click Add under the words Office Hours
  4. On the Office Hours screen, click Add new Row, then add the information you want students to see. Click Submit.
