Changing your Legal Sex

Students or employees who wish to change their legal sex as listed in Banner may do so through the registrar's office or HR.

Students
  • Submit a request to reginfo@isu.edu requesting the legal sex be changed to Male, Female, or Blank.
    • Note: No legal documentation of change is required. Only the name and information on the ID match.
 
Employees (Including students, faculty, and staff)
  • HR currently requires employees to make this change in person due to security concerns. Legal sex can be changed to male, female, or blank.
    • Note: No legal documentation of change is required. Only the name and information on the ID match.
