Internet speed test services provided by Networking and Communications (NetCom) and Ookla.
Instructions
Ookla
Speed Test measures Internet speed to servers off campus.

NetCom
Speed Test measures network speed on campus.
Visit
http://speedtest.netel.isu.edu
Results will vary based on your connection type and connection method.
Expected wired network results vary between 100Mbps-950Mbps
Expected wireless network results vary between 6Mbps-120Mbps.
Many factors affect your wireless speeds. These may include:
Location and proximity to wireless Access Point (AP).
Number of connected devices.
Interference from other devices.
Physical obstacles.
Aging wireless adapters or old hardware.
Applications using your bandwidth, such as updates, streaming services, etc.
Device drivers.
VPN encryption/decryption and or tunneling.
