First Time Setup
Setup Headset
- Turn on Headset
- Confirm Controllers are connected and have power
- Label Each unit with Unique Number ID
- Perform first time updates (5-10m)
Setup Meta Horizons Account
- Login to NursingVrSim@isu.edu

Enter Code from Meta Horizons App
Note: You can download the app, then log in to
NursingVrSim@isu.edu and then enter the passcode from the Email. The password for the email account never needs to be shared.

Device requesting a login code?
Visit http://meta.com/device as instructed and login to NursingVrSim@isu.edu
No password needed. A login code will be sent to that email, which can be provided to you by someone with delegate access.
Screen Mirroring
Want to share your VR Experience with the class?
Your computer must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your headset to cast with Meta Quest. To start casting:
Note: Most campus headsets are connected to DeviceNet
- On your computer, open your browser then go to oculus.com/casting and log in.
Note: You can login to your own account or NursingVrSim@isu.edu if you have delegate access.
- In your headset, press the Meta button on your right Touch or Touch Pro controller to open the universal menu.
- Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
- Select Cast.
- Select Web, then select Next.
- Select Computer, then select Next to connect.
