ISU Book Bundle: Accessing Digital Course Materials for Faculty

This article explains how faculty can enable the Course Materials link in Canvas to provide students access to digital course materials included in the ISU Book Bundle. It also outlines available support options through the ISU Bookstore and Barnes & Noble College Customer Care. 

Instructions

Follow these steps to enable the Course Materials link in your Canvas course. This link gives you and your students access to all digital materials included in the ISU Book Bundle.

  1. Log in to Canvas and open your course.
  2. In the Course Navigation Menu, select Settings.
  3. At the top of the Settings page, select the Navigation tab.
  4. Locate the Course Materials item in the list of hidden menu items.
  5. Select the Options (3-dot) menu, then choose Enable.
  6. The Course Materials item will move to the list of active menu items.
  7. Optional: Drag and drop to adjust its position in the menu.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save.
  9. In the Course Navigation Menu, select Course Materials to confirm the link appears and works correctly.
