Starting February 2, 2026, any version of the Duo Mobile app below 4.85 will no longer be supported and will be blocked from accessing ISU systems. Version 4.104.0 is the current version of Duo Mobile as of January 2026.

Step 1: Check Your Duo Mobile App Version
iPhone (iOS)

Open the Duo Mobile app.

Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner.

Scroll to the bottom of the menu.

Look for the Version number, which should display 4.85.0 or higher
Android

Open the Duo Mobile app.

Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the upper-left corner.

Scroll to the bottom of the menu.

Look for the Version number, which should display 4.85.0 or higher
Note: If your app is already on version 4.85 or higher, you do not need to take any further action.
Step 2: Update the App (If Needed)
Updating the app only takes a minute.

Search for Duo Mobile.

Tap Update.

Open the Google Play Store.

What Happens If I Don’t Update?
If your app is not updated to version 4.85 or later by February 2, 2026, Duo may stop working, and you could be blocked from accessing ISU systems that require multi-factor authentication (MFA).
