Description
The Safe Exam Browser (SEB) is a proctoring tool used by faculty in the ISU Computer Classrooms. It regulates the access to any utilities like system functions, other websites and applications, and prevents unauthorized resources being used during an exam.
[Warning: This is not an online proctoring solution, but a product to help enhance in-person proctoring in a computer lab setting.]
SEB has been installed in several ISU computer labs in Pocatello, Meridian, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls. For a complete list of computer labs with SEB, see the eISU website.
Students will need to initiate the SEB on the computer prior to starting their Moodle quiz. The Quiz Activity: Use Safe Exam Browser [Student] handout explains how to initiate, use, and close the SEB for students. Feel free to share this link with your students.
