ISU's Caller ID system
  • The ISU Caller ID system operates on the Pocatello, Meridian, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls campuses.
  • The call displays your preferred first and last name or the department's name if it comes from the main department phone.
  • Calls coming from off-campus will not display the caller's name but will show the phone number only. 
    • Note: The names associated with off-campus numbers are the property of the outside phone service providers, which ISU cannot access.  
  • The preferred first name is taken from your Personal Information Self-Service page in MyISU. 
  • Various phone models have differing limits on how many characters they display. 
    • Note: If your name is longer than the character limit on your phone, the name will automatically be truncated.
