Instructions

Google Storage Usage has limitations at ISU for different participants of the University (students, faculty, staff, etc.). For questions on Google Storage Limits, see Google Storage FAQ.

Note: Files that are in your trash count towards your storage capacity.
  1. Go to Google Drive Storage to view a detailed breakdown of your current Google storage usage in Google Drive.
    • Note: You may be asked to enter your ISU username and password to see this page.
  2. Sort the results using the buttons at the top: Type (sort by type of file) or Modified (sort by date last modified).
  3. You can click on each file listed to see what it is, or you can right click on each file to move it to the Trash.  Remember that you will need to empty the Trash for your total storage number to decrease.
If you cannot access Google Drive, please check your data usage using the following steps.
  1. Sign in to your ISU Email with your username and password
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of your email to view your data usage.
