How to Request
I know my current password and just need to change it.
- If you know your current password, you can change your password using our online self-service portal by logging in at the IAM Self Service link and updating your password via the "My Accounts" tab.
I don't know my current password or my password isn't working.
- If you do not know your password, first try clicking the "Forgot Password" link on the IAM Self Service site, where you will be guided through answering the security questions that you setup. If you can successfully answer them, you will be prompted to create a new password. The answers to the security questions are not case sensitive.
Note: If you are still unable to access your account, you can either call the IT Service Desk at 208-282-4357 or come in person, with photo ID, for assistance. We only set passwords when we can positively identify you. Due to the sensitive nature of the data and systems, your ISU username and password are used for, resetting your password is something we only do in person or over the phone so we can properly validate your identity.
