Service Description

Request installation of upgrades or modules to enhance Banner's capabilities.

Standard Features

  • Impact assessment and recommendation.
  • Coordinates upgrades and / or various modules for system enhancement.

Roles and Responsibilities

User Responsibilities

  • Identifies the regulatory reason or compelling business need for the patch/upgrade. 
  • Tests the functionality of the upgrade/patch.
  • Provides functional acceptance/sign-off is to apply upgrade/patch in the production environment.

Service Provider Responsibilities

  • Evaluates the dependencies and release information, such as functional and technical enhancements. 
  • Proposes an implementation schedule based on the needs of the functional data custodian(s).

All ISU data custodians, TechOps members, and ITS staff
