Technology Access After Graduation, Retirement, or Separation

This article provides instructions on how to Create an account, and transfer your Google and Microsoft Data after separating from Idaho State University (ISU).

Google Workspace After Separation

Upon graduation, retiring, or attaining an alumni status by completing 24 credits, you can retain your ISU Gmail account with a 5 GB storage limit. To keep that account active, you must log in at least once every year (every 365 days) to avoid deactivation.
After graduation or separation from the university, access to Google Drive applications will be removed.
Applications include:
  • Docs
  • Sheets
  • Slides
  • 10 GB of Cloud Storage in Google Drive

Microsoft 365 After Separation

After graduation or separation from the university, access to Microsoft 365 applications will be removed.
Applications include:
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Powerpoint
  • Teams
  • Sharepoint
  • OneDrive Cloud Storage

Tip: You can also export these files to your personal computer just by downloading them
