Using the Disability Services Student Accommodation Portal

Description

This article provides instructions on how to use the Disability Services Student Accommodation Portal at Idaho State University (ISU).

Guide Navigation

Student Portal Dashboard

  • The portal to access your profile and accommodations is linked from the Disability Services webpage.
  • To access the portal, you must be logged in to your regular ISU email and password.
  • From the main page, you can start and/or resume your application and Start a request for services.
  • If you have already worked with disability services to submit a request for services, you will see your dashboard.
    • The dashboard lists the classes that you have accommodation requests for.
    • To view the accommodations, select the class you wish to view.
    • You can edit your accommodation requests and view your request status.
  • Next to your accommodation requests, you can view your advisor's information and send them an email.

Dashboard Menu Items

  • Overview: Selecting the Overview button will bring you back to the dashboard screen that first opens when you log in.
  • Announcements: The Announcements button brings you to a page that lists any announcements or updates that have been sent to you.

  • Login and Security: Shows your username and the date of your last login attempt.
  • My Appointments: Appointments with Disability Services that you have scheduled will be listed. You will have access to the following:
    • Date and time of the appointment
    • Who the appointment is with
    • What type of appointment (in-person, Zoom, phone, email).

  • My Files: Lists files that you have on file in the portal.
  • My Eligibility: Lists all accommodations that you are eligible for. The listed accommodations have dropdown menus that explain what the accommodation is. Open and close the dropdown menus using the arrow icon next to the accommodation name.
  • My E-Form Agreements: View all the E-Form agreements that you have signed, and the date that you signed them.
