Forwarding your ISU Email

ALL emails from ISU are sent to your ISU email account, so it is important to either check your account regularly or to set up forwarding so that the ISU emails go to your regular email address.  Here is how to setup forwarding. 


1.       Open your  ISU email account.  (Note: if you have difficulties, contact the Service Desk).   Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your inbox and select Settings.

2.       Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

3.       Click Add a forwarding address.


4.       Enter the new email address you want these messages to forward to and click Next.

5.       You’ll see a verification screen with the email address you just entered. Double-check this, then click Proceed.

6.       Gmail will send a confirmation email to the address you entered. Follow the instructions in that email to confirm the forwarding email address.

7.       Go back into the Gmail settings Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and turn forwarding on by selecting the radio button next to Forward a copy of incoming mail to, then choose your email address from the drop-down list. 

8.       Click Save Changes at the bottom to complete the mail forwarding setup.
