Service Description

Report a problem with your ISU owned computing equipment or software.

Standard Features

Assistance with troubleshooting and fixing problems with ISU owned hardware and software. 

Roles and Responsibilities

User Responsibilities:

Provide details related to the request including:

  • Device names and location of computer(s)
  • ISU Tag number of the computer
  • Detailed description of problem being experienced

Service Provider Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot over the phone or remote session, scheduled appointment as needed
  • Assist with submitting hardware repair request if needed
  • Follow up with submitter via phone to confirm the problem is successfully resolved

Service Audience

ISU Faculty and Staff.

Service Pricing

Pricing is only applicable if a field technician is dispatched and is contingent upon how long the service request takes to resolve. Standard Desktop Support charge is $10 hourly.
